Travel as a chaperone!
This year, Burbank students, grades 9-12, will be chosen to travel to Ota, Japan, as delegates representing Burbank. We are looking for chaperones, ages 26 or older, to accompany our students to Ota, Japan. Chaperones participate in home stays just like students and chaperone airfare is paid for by the Burbank Sister City Committee.
To learn more about becoming a chaperone, attend a Sister City Committee meeting held the first Monday of every month at 6:30 PM in the auditorium at the Buena Vista Library in Burbank. We would love to have you join us!
Download a chaperone application or email BSCC President Courtney Abruzzo at [email protected]. You are also welcome to call the Library at 818 238-5551 and ask for the Burbank Sister City Library Liaison, Leslie Sandoval.
